Is it Worth the Train ride? And Bike riding in NYC!

Welcome to New York City the city that never sleeps,

its also the city where prices constantly rise and people struggle to survive.

Welcome back readers its that time again when I give you a laugh as well as a message of information wrapped in motivation,

You've read the topic so now its time to start. Is it me or does it seem like the price of NYC public transportation keeps rising?

every time us New Yorkers cut on the new there's talks about a fare hike of some sort there's even been talk about cutting the

school metro cards

However with so much going in involved with these fare hikes, us New Yorkers should be asking our selves a question

"Is it worth Train or Bus ride" and the answer is No!! we are not getting our moneys worth. While I've decided to exclude the bus

from this topic for various reasons I wanted to focus on the NYC trains at hand for reasons that some if not all of us can agree

on.

Does it seem like we are waiting longer and longer for trains to show up?

and then when they do show up you have to get on this crowded ass train

If you said yes to both of these questions then you reader have either gone through or go through the same experiences as

the other million or so New Yorkers. With that said if we can all raise our hand, how many of us have rode the A train either

going towards queens or Harlem?

If you've raised your hand then you know what I'm talking about, they should call this train the life of the train system aka

the Entertainment train. From the kids selling candy not for a basketball team but to keep money in their pockets to the

panhandlers trying to make a quick buck

You can not enjoy a decent train ride even with you Ipod on full blast, but its one thing that really makes riding this train the

most annoying.

While I'm not the type of person to joke about the homeless, However I will say this there are too many on the trains these

Not only can we not sit in a car that they are stretched out sleeping in, but every two stop on this A train

(and I literally mean two stops) there's one right behind each other with a cup in their hand asking for spare change.

So now not only do we have to pay 2.25 for a fare but now we also have to empty out out pockets of spare change to the

homeless also? now ask your self this question reader "Is all of this really worth the train ride?" Really?! .

And just when I thought I seen it all on the NYC trains (not just the A train) there's always something new that wasn't there

before. Have u been in a air conditioned train car and suddenly u smell

That's right I said it cigarettes, just like the title says "I couldn't make this ish up if i tried". My question is who said it was

cool to light up a boogie on the Train?! Really?! So now not only do we have to hear the panhandlers get harassed by the

homeless for our spare changer and occasional church goer''s sermon, but now I we all have to sit on the train like this

All because some idiot forgot rule number ONE!!

now really ask your self this question "Is it really worth the train ride?".

With that said its time to move on to my next topic, riding Bikes has come back in style again!

while I dont have too much of a problem with this trend I will say this to all those people who ride their bikes all around the

city , stay off the the side walks, these guys will give you a ticket in a heart beat.

And what ever you do remember that you are riding in New York "Get the eff out of the way!" City, so while your blowing

through those red light zig zagging in and out of traffic

with your ipod blasting away try to be alert for Cabs, trucks, buses, people and of course fire trucks and ambulances cause if

you don't chances are you'll wind up inside of a ambulance.

With that said I'm done leave me some feed back people, rather u want to be annoymous or not, I'll take it,

til next time, tell a friend to tell a friend!

  3. These fares for public transportation are sickening. I agree that it's important to be cautious when using the ipod, as you said about riding the bicycles. Gotta be alert.
